Aging and Obesity Lab

Our mission is to discover the identity and specific role of genes affecting fat metabolism and aging and the application of this knowledge to improve human health. 

 

To advance this goal we mine the genome of the nematode Caenorhabditis elegans, an animal model proven to be effective to uncover the molecular mechanisms of human disease.
